What’s Happening in July

Road Safety Week

Monday 28th July we are having a ROAD SAFETY WEEK. The centre will be having a visit from Port Stephens Council to come and talk to the children about road safety and wearing helmets while riding bikes.

Grandparents Morning Tea

We are also hosting a GRANDPARENT’S MORNING TEA on Wednesday 6th August. Grandparents are valued members of the community and within their families and we wish to include them in our centre activities. During this day they will be able to share morning tea with their grandchild as well as be involved in some activities at the centre.

Footy Week

Footy week was a huge success with the children wearing their favourite jerseys and footy colours. We included lots of ball games outside with soccer nets and footy goals to encourage eye/hand co-ordination. The pre-schoolers made papier mache footballs to hang around the room as well as the world cup symbals and colours.

Parent Teacher Interviews

Don’t forget about our Parent/Teacher interviews in July. Parents can talk to their child’s teacher about their progress and view their developmental portfolio.

Port Stephens Annual Business Awards 2014

Once again we have been nominated for the Port Stephens Annual Business Awards 2014 and we are in the finals!! We have won this award in 2011 and 2013 so we are very excited once again to be in the running this year. Congratulations to the wonderful staff who make our centre great.
